Highway roadblock

Is it me, or just a sign from God... are there actually more clueless drivers on the road today? How often have you driven on a freeway, say bout 2-5 lanes wide...only to suddenly have to cruise behind a wall of slow drivers (head cars) who are pretty much driving side to side (or sorta staggered, but w/ no room to pass between in)? It drives me nuts!!!

A bill was proposed in the GA legislature this year (I'm not sure if it passed) that would make it illegal to go under the speed limit in the far left lane. I'm not sure this will solve the problem, but I suppose it's worth a shot.

It happens to me 3 days a week to and from school. I purposely take the windy roads to enjoy the car rather than the freeway but it always bites me in the ass!

In VA there is a law on the books that prohibits "impeding traffic" in the left lane but it is totally useless because they never enforce it .... It is actually illegal to get in the left lane and poke along thus causing road rage but the cops just ignore it ....

Yup it seems like some days people are just out there to f#%k you... Absolutely refusing to get over. I always pass them super close and flick them off.

That's pretty common everywhere with 2 lane freeway.
Basically these people way of thinking, I ain't driving in front a semi in the slow lane cause I am worried getting hit by semi in case it looses brakes and I ain't driving behind a semi either casue I can't see. SO I am driving next to it; if you need to pass us go ahead try emergency lane.

The worse kind was an old couple somewhere between L.A. and SF on 2-lane I-5 one time. I approached them on the fast lane gently just to signal them, of-course he didn't move so when we passed a slower car and I moved to the right lane the guy raced me to box me in again by the next slow car on the right. This happened for a few times.

I feel bad if someone apporached me fast on the left lane cause I wasn't paying attention so I move quickly to the right cause I know I won't ever see him again in my lifetime. Some people just like to be a hero, not worth it to me cause you never know if the next guy you toy with pack Smith&Wesson.

well i ended up being a wall because of some bitch. I was already cruising at 80, limit 55. Cars in front of me are doing the same speed in the left lane, I am in the left lane also, but they are hundreds of feet ahead. I am slowly passing a car that is in the left lane, and this old bitch is tailing me, and flashing her beams. This is at 9am. So i said wtf, sped up to 90, caught up with the pack ahead of me, and went to the right lane and formed a wall for this bitch who slowly caught up in her civic. Again, this is a wall cruising at 80mph. Then a car from the left lane moves over and i get slowed down. This lady is fingering me as she passes me. As she gets further down, I see her weaving between the lanes trying to move ahead, but she never does and I catch up to her again. Then i exit, and she continues doing the same, with very little progress.

Happens everyday. Drives me insane everyday.

People also feel the need to drive in little bunches. It's like leaping from one clusterfuck to the next on the highway sometimes.. infuriating.

Maybe in the land of bayou it is.

I won't call it traffic if there are open lanes in front of this cluster for miles on freeway.
In the west what we call traffic is hundreds of cars form bumper to bumper for miles.

The best are the ppl that miss the store or w/e they're going to and pull a 3 pt U turn in the middle of a 4 lane road stopping oncoming traffic, when theres a side street 50ft ahead

Nah, we need to send these people to school, not driving school but elementary school; cause apparently they miss the big sign saying "use left lane for passing only" by freeway.

Actually Washington state trooper suppose to pull over driver on the fast lane if there are 5 or more cars behind him/her. But it hasn't been enforced, looks like WS police realize this could be the beginning of road-rage.
