Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe those wheels on your car are BBS and yet you have BBS red caps on them?

Like i said i cant afford them. When i can theyll be up there. i have other things to waste my money on then 5gs worth of rims. I put the center caps on cause i thought they would look nice with the rest of the car. I debate on taking them off all the time but i dont want to go back to the bmw signs. and if they are red bmw signs they will look to tacky with the rest of the car. so if you got any better ideas throw them up.

first of all.. I dont think posing for BBS rims with BBS cap look good at all.. at least most of the people who are within the enthusiast scene would just laugh it off anyway. But then again, ignorant public would probably think, that looks nice, you know?

You really do contradict yourself... you said you would put them on once you can "afford" them.. but then you say you are not going to waste $5k on a set of rims.... Sounds like sour grape to me.

The rim looks nice, but not with the cap. you can always go capless too

Oh well, the car will be perfect after a little drop and use bmw caps

I have the linea corse wheels with bmw center caps, they are replica bbs lms. You can tell the difference but they look nice anyway. I had volks on my 350z and bent them in one month and decided not to buy high dollar rims again.

Your car looks good but i agree, take the bbs caps off and put bmw caps or something else on....

I can understand if you have a BBS style and put a BBS cap.. but this is not even a BBS style rim...

sorry not digging the rims, the lips make them look small. red bbs caps don't belong on rims that are not bbs (and it's pretty obvious). honestly i would've spent the money on shock/spring combo and keep oe wheels, would've looked much nicer imo than bad wheels on the 4x4 look.

oh yea, the red overlays on the rear hatch look tacky as well. the cf overlays work b/c they're more subtle... don't cheapen the ride man.

i dont agree with the emblems being tacky. I like my rims but i agree the caps gotta go. carbon fiber overlays are suitable on cars with the whole cf theme going. i dont got it or want it going on.

there's no "rule of thumb" on which overlays to use when so you're obviously entitled to your opinion. i personally think red might look good on a red car perhaps (can't even say that'd be great but maybe the best scenario). i think cf would look good b/c your car is black and from a distance cf overlays dont even look cf, they just look black so cf theme is sorta irrelevant. the only red you have are your tails and should remain like that. my 2 cents. gluck with everything else.

Hey Chris,

You've seen my car many times at the meets. Go with a spring/strut combo such as the HR Sports/Race and Koni Yellows/FSD's. Ride quality will be similar to stock and you'll also achieve a lower stance. If there's a meet tomorrow you can check out my car and go that route. Or if you have the extra cash to spend, go with the Bilstein PSS9/10's or KW V2's.
