does alarm come stadard?
do you guys know if the alarm system for the e90 comes standard? i was also wondering if your able to make it silent, someone told me you could but don't know for sure...

No and it's rediculous. There is no theft deterrent device on the car as well - the LED below the rearview mirror doesn't come alive until you spend ~$700 to put the alarm on

It certainly is ridicules if it is not standard. In Europe it depends from country to country, Belgium and the UK have it standard, other countries like Germany and the Netherlands do not. But in those cases, you can order it factory installed.
For some reason the US does not have it standard, and not only that, but you can also not have it factory installed. |

Does the oem alarm have timer when it goes off? like 1 or 2 min and it will shut off itself? It is kinda annoying if it goes off and I am not around, people may be pissed and hit my car, haha...
