Zaino QD over wax

This is a question that probably nobody knows, but I was wondering if the Z6 and Z8 do work well over non-zaino waxes.

They work fine, but Z8 wouldn't last very long because it won't bond to wax.

Have you tried it? How much is "not very long"?

I've tried it but on my color (Estoril Blue on my M3, haven't used it on the 335i yet) Z8 has never been very apparent anyway. I have no idea how long it actually lasted since I can't see it very well anyway. It is supposed to last 2 weeks with zaino underneath it so I would guess a week or less with wax under it.

Z6 is just a quick detailer, I don't think it would matter much which product you are using it with.

I only use zaino products over other zaino products. I'm sure it won't strip the wax or anything. but if you are using it as a qd and not a lsp. i'm sure it will do a pretty good job of cleaning. Its generally a better idea to put wax over sealants and not sealants over wax as your duribility is only as good as what's touching the paint
