Okay so my birthday was in march and my uncle gave me this home theater system as a gift. Anyways i live in a small house so i dont really have any place to put it and they've been sitting in a corner ever since. They are brand new in the box. Just cracked the box open alittle to take a look at the finish. Info can be found at http://www.paramaxaudio.com/hometheater701.html. Lol the site says that they MSRP for $4200 but i highly doubt my uncle spent anywhere close to that hence the low price. I can meet anywhere in vancouver, richmond, burnaby.

Since i got it for free. I think its only fair to give it away for free.

Studies have shown (seriously now) that people will pay top dollar for items that they believe are stolen or of a similarly 'fishy' nature.

Dude slides up in a van, tells you he has an unbelievable deal on a $4200 set of speakers for only say.......$800. Sold!! you say.

Congratulations! You just bought a $300 set of shitty speakers for $800. Now they even back up the $4200 claim with a crappy website.

The bonus? Don't ever think of reporting these scammers to anyone - cos you're the only one that did anything even remotely illegal. You bought what you thought was stolen shwag. They just sold junk.

I think these are probably worth less then $300. I was talking to my uncle and he told me about his encounter with the white van in a kitsilano. He says they originally wanted $400 for them but quickly dipped down to $200 and after another couple minutes down to $100. Which is what he ended up paying for these. The guys were driving a biege mazda minivan, so if anyone in a biege mazda is trying to sell you some speakers tell them to F*** Off!

the funny this is that their not really bad speakers... my cousin bought 2 towers for $50 and they POUND! Deep bass and okay treble... nothing to brag about, but they sound surprisingly good.

Mind you the build quality is shit and they are not shielded. Worth $50? Hell yeah.
