Question bluetooth and idrive phone book browsing

I saw some idrive shots on phone book browsing via bluetooth connection with your mobile.

Does anyone knows if this feature is compatible with any bluetooth enable mobile?

No, only certain phones transfer their phonebook

go to www.X5world.com and look for their link to Bluetooth phones

They have one of the best lists of what phones can do what

This feature works great with the Motorola RAZR V3.

I think I found a bug in browsing the phonebook with iDrive.
After I uploaded the whole address book from my cell phone, the screen nicely shows all the numbers. good so far!

Scrolling through the alphabets shows 4 entries for each alphabet and you should 'select' one of them to see all the entries under it.
So I clicked the alphabet 'A' to see all the entries starting with 'A', but the iDrive doesn't scroll down after the initial 4 entries even though there were lots of names under 'A'.
I forced to scrolled down and then it did show some more entries, but with great force and I kinda stopped there because I didn't want to break it.

did anyone see this? or just me yet.

drfluid, it sounds like a bluetooth transmission problem to me, eventhough your phone/idrive says that transfer is completed, there might be still data transfering in the background

maybe if you could give it some time and wait out and see if the problem still happens?

Hi,

"wad" - works as designed.

The force feedback feature of the iDrive knob lets you know that the end of the screen has been reached - which doesn not necessarily mean that you reached the end of the list...

Stupid I know but thats the way it should; talked to my dealer about that...
