AZ-Glendale: Scan Tool Share
Anybody looking to throw down on a scan tool? Preferably the Peake scan tool. I dont see the point in dropping that much on a BT scanner since I dont plan on data logging or anything of that sorta. I believe the Peake scan tools are ~$180. They read and clear all BMW codes. Perfect for getting ready for warranty visits without spending $50 to have some shop with a GT1 scan your car.

I just dont want to buy one and own one. I have another year or two here before I'll be somewhere else in the country doing my residency and then once I graduate I'll be back on the east coast. I'm going to call one of the few shops around with a GT1 and see if they'll just scan and delete for $20 and tell them I'll go to them for my in between oil changes.

Hmmmmsssss..... I'm 5 minutes from Peoria.
I'm still debating whether its worth it or not. I'm going to hit up Babbit MW, they've got a GT1. I'm gonna grab a quick oil change before going cross country and just skip the dealer. Probably have him delete any codes too. |
