My 2012 F30 3-series wish list.

1) Dual Clutch Transmission

2) Limited Slip Diff

3) Google Maps Nav

4) + 1 wheel sizes standard. The 3-series has been under rimmed for the longest.

5) Put back the dipstick

6) Make the brake calipers look nicer (or Brembo Brakes for "si" models). Current 3-series Brakes looks crude.

I would like to have the window buttons back on the center console.
And rear windows that opens like in the E46 for the coupe version.

Ditch the runflats....

A fuel pump that wont die on you after 10 miles.

I plan on getting a new 3-series in 2012 just don't know if I should wait for the new 3 series to come out or get a 335IS. Was looking at the M3 but it won't make an economical daily driver.

2012 is about when I'll be looking at getting another vehicle as well. I'd go for the 335IS. BMW doesn't want to admit it, but the twin-turbo six is a better engine than the new single turbo unit.

1. Less wheel gap, especially in the front.
2. Matte black and gray color option.
3. A longer warranty period.

Window buttons on center console +1000. The ergonomics of the current car layout with respect to window button distance sucks.

IMO
Bigger gas tank means more unecessary weight.
FOB is fine, I prefer it over the key.
More room under the console would be a plus.

Spare tire would be a plus but would be useless if you have staggered rims.

I want bangle back...lol, i got a feeling the 3,5 and 7er are going to all look the same.

More liberal use of ambient lighting. It's really seductive.
better looking key fob.
bigger rims standard
better iphone integration ( ability to use your iphone connection to access google maps)
motorized Secret compartments
Bigger LCD display
Exposed stitching on the leather and leatherette seats.
hydrophobic glass (Porsche)
ability to close all windows using key fob incase I forget to close one.
ability for key fob to remember driver characteristics
Mirrors that tilt downward in reverse to aid in rear parking or parallell parking
sensors that warn you of blind spot objects
voice command
ability to use key fob as credit card
start car using iphone,
remote turn on ac or heated seats using iphone
peizo electric tintable panoramic sunroof
wine cooler
RFID (so that parking lot knows my car and i'don't have to buy a ticket, it just bills me instead)
Some less conservative paint colours.

hym i've got a lot more ideas actually. bmw should really contact me.

1. Go back to GFT or at least make them optional. RFTs are noisy, heavier, ride worse, and are expensive compared to GFTs. If they were that good, every car manufacturer would have adopted them. They have not. IMHO, they have been an epic FAIL for BMW.
2. Give us our dipsticks back. Hooking everything up to a computer makes no sense. Sometimes simpler is better.
3. Make the F30 lighter than the E90. If 4-bangers are the order of the day, give them less heft to move around.

LOL I hope none of those come true. This is a BMW not a minivan.
1. Bigger GAS tank = more weight
2. Push button is fine
3. There are enough storage compartments
4. Lot more weight

In my opinion, I wish the standard of 3 series for next generation has:

1. Sport package, paddle shift, sport seat;
2. Executive and premium packages (compass mirror, heated mirror etc)
3. BMW performance steering wheel
4. Sound package (Logic 7 or Boss Audio)
5. Provide different types of rims as a option, 18 inch is standard.
6. Navigation Package
7. Carbon Fiber Roof
8. Use iPhone or iPad to control the vehicle, even though we can use Voice Control or Voice Identification to start the engine
9. the oil consumption must be much more saving than last generation (E90,91,92,93)

Ventilated Seats. My friend's Avalon has them, and there's nothing like cool air blowing on your balls in the smoldering Georgia heat.

You guys are rediculous. Most of this stuff would just turn your 3 series into a 5-series with 5-series prices. I want less weight, less cost, even better mileage, just as quick, just as much room, regular tires + spare, and fold down seats standard.

I don't want 19s, the thought of paying 300 dollars for tires sickens me. I don't want navi. I don't really care about leather, high quality fabric or leatherette would be ok with me. I don't give a flip about a carbon roof. Voice command is dumb. Ventilated seats are dumb, and just add weight. If you want more weight, buy a 5 series.

How about we just get stuff that too many other carmakers have as standard?? Bluetooth, moonroof, power seats? It's ridiculous that these things are still options that we need to pay for
