Infiniti G37S coupe replacing e90 328i

I went ahead with a better deal at a local Infiniti dealership.

They had a 2008 Infiniti g37s Auto (everything except navi) ONLY 15,800 KMs
=$39,600

Worked out some numbers and got it for $37,600 ($42,500 after tax)

All in CANADIAN dollars.

Picking it up tomorrow

What do you guys think?

I am still a HUGE BMW fan.....with a 5 series in the family!! My next purchase will be a 2013 BMW M3

At around the 50K mark...our vehicles are 10K more expensive than yours.

A 328 goes for 42 K here
a 335 for 50K

so whatever price he quoed, subtract 10 K for the US price

You guys are lucky...for the amount I paid for my car, I would consider the 535xi

Wholesale value is $31,250 Cdn and retail is $34,850 Cdn (not incl. taxes). Looks like you paid 10% more than you should.

IMO, you have made a reasonable choice, and you should enjoy your car. Don't worry about the people who come with a posteriori insights, it is just that all of us would have liked to have kept you here on the BMW forum. Having bought a nice Infinity, you will likely divert. In any case, among Japanese cars, Infinity is closest to BMW in handling, and with your choice you shall not run into any high pressure pump problems. And who knows, you may return to the fold, one day. Good luck.

We get royally screwed in Canada and I do mean that. When you add in the tax and everything they can bone you with here I'd say the 328i is about $12K-$15K more in Canada. When I bought my 328i which had everything but Nav it was $59K tax in. And that was with me getting $2500 off the price of the car.

bluetooth setup is the same so I'll ask you friends over here.

I paired it with my phone but having difficulties with "saying" the contact names.

When I say a contact name the car won't recognize it. Is there another setup process for this?

^^ Wow, that's crazy! Is this due to your universal healthcare system?? I hope the US won't get this out of control with the new health care bill. We already pay enough IMO!
