Town Fair Tire
Would you guys recommend getting tires through them, mounted and balanced? Just nervous with the low profile tires and didn't want the rims to get damaged during the swap. Happened to me before on my old Mustang (Not at Town Fair though).

They were a little reckless driving my lowered car up onto the alignment rack, but seemed ok other than that.
I might not trust them mounting stretched tires, but you should be fine having them mount a normal setup. |

I'd just go for it ... I've had them work on my car before and everything was fine. Other members stay away from them.

The guys at Direct Tire seem to be more professional than Town Fair Tire...with that said, I did used to take my old TSX to Town Fair Tire in Natick with no issues. But...I would probably feel more comfortable going to Direct Tire instead.

I got my wheels/tires aligned at the Shrewsbury TF and it was fine. It really depends on the workers there (mostly young kids) and you just have to talk to them to make sure they understand your concerns

Exactly. I got in good with the kids at TFT in Natick...basically just talk cars with them and make them feel like they are the coolest car enthusiasts out there and they will take better care of your car. When they aligned my car, the dude let me in the garage and I basically sucked up to him and asked him to show me how the alignment worked...which was kinda cool learning experience.

No problem with TFT in Danvers. Found the tires on TireRack, filled out a form online and TFT beat their prices. Installed them on my 219m's on Saturday and did a 4-wheel align (my third this winter)--no scratches, no drama. I did get a flat the next day, though, but I can't blame them for that...

TFT
Based on my experience I would never go back to them. They scratched my wheels on 2 different vehicles. If you like TFT, I would avoid the the Norwalk store on Rt 7.
