The M-sport is not rare at all. There are tons of them on the lots of all the local dealers, and I've seen quite a few around town. Of course, out here in LA, there are multiple E9x lined up at every red light.
The 335i Msport is not really uncommon. But, it is true that the N52 significantly outsells the more expensive N54/N55.

N54 M Sport was only out here for 11 months - now you are stuck with the mod-less N55. I have to believe it's rare when you look at the economy and the small window this options was out.
N54 M Sport on dealer lots???? really? |

Common in Canada too. Just as many M-Sport N54 as non-M-Sport N54 in my dealer's inventory.

Hmm I'm the only M-Sport E90, let alone N54, in all of Corpus that I know of. I keep track of the innovatory of the local dealer here and so far there have been 4 on their lot. 2 E92s and 2 E93s. 1 has sold in the 4 months they have sat on the lot, all autos.

we say that they're common because we see them so much on here. if you looked at the real hard numbers, 335s with the M-sport package are in fact extremely rare. try this:
1. think of how many 3s you see. 2. think of how many of 3s are 335s. 3. how many of those buyers/lessees decided to spend the extra money on the M-sport package. spending money to go to a 335 from a 328 would be enough of a stretch. i can take it one step further: 4. how many of those M-sports have X-drive? 5. and how many of those M-sport X-drives are coupes? 6. and of those coupes, how many are manual? my car must be one of only a handful built.

I haven't seen another one like mine in North NJ at all. I custom ordered my E90 with no x drive and 6spd - had no choice. Dealer did a search and came up with nothing at the time. I personally think we have the ultimate 335s with this option / N54 / Msport.
