BBK experts please advice! I am a total n00b

Hi,

I have more questions about brakes. Well I really want some brembos for e92 coupe. But these are expensive to order... very!

So I have a question. Can I just order calipers from ebay from another car. Would I have any trouble fitting them on mine? I see that every calipers on sale state what kind of car they are for or what kind of a car they came of. But looking at the pictures they all look the same to me. I know I am a noob thank you

I see some new calipers on ebay for those new mustangs and some used ones as well (4 pistons). I was thinking of getting them and powder coating them to get the color of my preference. I have a local powder coating shop that will do all four for a 100 bucks.

Well if they fit with a bracket or something the second question: I saw some bmws here with the nice shiny yellow brembos and it looks to me like the rears are smaller? I have to get smaller ones for the rear or can I use the same ones front and back?

One more thing, for the e92 with 19 inch m6 replica rims ... what size of rotors would be good? Also will I have to get brembo rotors or will others do.

Please explain as much as you can about the whole thing. I never tried anything like this .. and before you ask NO! I am not going to install these myself I am going to get professional help

Brakes are a safety critical aspect of EVERY automobile. DO NOT risk the safety of yourself, your passengers, and your fellow motorists by purchasing brakes that are not meant for your car!!!!

Whether you buy a Brembo system from us or a set of brakes from eBay, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE buy ONLY brakes that are designed for your car and are TUV and DOT APPROVED! I cannot stress this enough!

If you want to talk about Brembo, we can offer you some kits that are MUCH more affordable than the 6 Piston 380mm! Also, while we suggest professional installation on all brake kits, it IS possible to install a brembo kit by yourself if you read the proper documentation!

Feel free to contact us with any questions - we are your #1 Source for Brembo products!
