Pathway Lighting

I searched the forum but couldn't find an answer, is there anyway I can get the pathway lighting activated at night at all time without pulling the stalk?

Thanks!

RTFM! Just kidding.. the manual stinks, really. I've never seen such a thick manual, with so many words that said so little. Anyway, the only way to activate pathway lighting in my car, is to pull back on the stalk. I assume this is the same across models...

I was expecting the "pathway lighting" to turn on when opening the car, allowing to see the car better at night.
Maybe I was expecting that because my Benz had that, it turned on the fogs upon unlocking AND locking for a pre-set time.

I was under a similar impression, but at least the interior lights and the puddle lights on the door handles does light up momentarily.

I don't see why they don't have it activated at might automatically since the NA spec E90s has automatic headlights anyway. Unless of course they don't want us to strain the battery.

Good grief! If 40 seconds of headlights on puts a strain on a battery, either the headlights draw too bloody much current or the batteries they're putting in the cars are the cheapest ones from the lowest bidder.

You could program it to stay on for more than 40 seconds.
