tough acciden! thank god and thank you BMW
yah it happened, today, on our way back from lunch at my uncle's,with my bro and young sis 2nd accident with my E90
Note: the results of the accident were not as interesting as the accident itself... 1. im in the left lane, driving at about 80 mph. 2. a bus next to me, driving at about 60 mph, trying to overtake a car infront of him. 3. he turns with a very hard angle! i hit the breaks, honk and turn slightly left to avoid him, but still hits me!!!!!  4. the car turns left due to the hit, so i turn right to avoid the concrete. 5. the car wings right and left insanely!! but i controlled it luckely... in the End, i thank God for saftey, and i thank BMW, i saw death twice! i saw the concrete, and i saw it when the car was winging insanely im sure if it was another car i wouldnt control it that easy... here are the results: <<<EDIT>>>: i got the quotation from the dealer today, they need to replace the door, the fender and the rim, the bumper will be painted... tomorrow is the war between us and the insurance company!

Glad no one was hurt. You are indeed fortunate. I hope you can make a nice settlement with the bus company!

Sounds like there were some tense moments there. It doesn't too bad, all things considered. Most important thing is everyone is ok, the car can be fixed.

Sorry to see that and glad no one got hurt. Yeah, you are very lucky considering you were cruising at 80. Hope you get he all fix up and back on the road again with confidence.
I remember now, your bro had also made some damage to your car at that very same front passenger side. Man, that sucks that it got hit again. Hopefully you get brand new door panel, fenders and bumper. she will be back to her glory days in no time. GL.

could have been a lot worse.
Two days ago I was on a 4 lane highway going 80. A DB9 passed me at about 90. I only saw one once before so I sped up. He came up on an old Toyota Corlla. The corolla sped up and would not move over. Thenm I heard a loud BOOM. The coroalla blew a tire and the DB9 ran over a large chunk - could have been a retread. I swerved to the left and almost hit the divider. Car responded excellently but i over-reacted and almost took it into the divider. DB9 flamed on like nothing happened. |

Glad you are OK.. Based on your unfortunate luck with that car, its a good thing you have white paint vs. metallic- easier to match in the body shop!
