Performance Center delivery is available to anyone who purchases a new BMW. It's a great, no cost, alternative to picking your car up at the dealers.

If you mean the Zentrum--it's open to the public regardless of whether you buy a BMW.

The factory was not open for a tour, because it was tooling up for production of a new car (so they told us) and they did not want us to see "secret" stuff. We got a raincheck for a future visit, though.

UHm, maybe because it isn't ricey and it isn't a street car. Everything on that car is fully functional and serving a specifically engineered purpose. Find me a ricer that can tell you that.

Sure did. I recommend it. Speak of history, I was fascinated by the boat engine.

I checked the Performance Center Delivery FAQ, at the following address:

http://www.bmwusa.com/bmwexperience/...Center/faq.htm

Looks like you can't do it--you must be a U.S. resident and register the car in the U.S., according to the FAQ. Too bad. You may want to talk to BMWNA to see if anything has changed.

Good luck.
