coupe Vs. Sedan

Hello everyone, im new to this website. And ive been reading around..I read a thread that stated that the 335i sedan is faster than the coupe???!? thats BS!! i have the coupe, i have 2200 miles on it, and ive opened it up a few times.. I've got mine at 130 mph in 4th gear, redline.. i didnt wanna go any faster than that..i havnt done any upgrades yet..i have an Automatic, and i love it, no regrets.. but im pretty sure if i pull up next to a 335i sedan, i will burn it, even if its 6MT. I've raced the 2006 g35 6MT, burned it. I raced a new GTO, burned it, badly. and ive raced a 750i lol, burned it..and im pretty sure there is no way the sedan is faster.

no offense to the sedan owners, its a nice car.

What makes you think your 335i Coupe would "burn" a 335i sedan? They both have the same engine and there is a very little weight difference between them. If anything at all, it would be a very close call. And the fact that you say even if it's a 6MT! That's just being silly.

Sounds like you are really happy with the decision you made by going with the coupe. So who care if joe blows say sedan is faster then coupe

Let see both the e90 and e92 335i's have the same engine, same trans (AT or MT) and pretty much weight about the same.

Yeah I can now see if you race an e90 you will definitely "burn it"

I'm pretty sure it would be a driver's race between the e90 and e92 335i. I can see this thread going nowhere but into the pits, closed.
