my buddy gave me the link and all i can do was

he owns a G35 coupe now and he's gonna sell it next year for a bimmer, i brought him to the other side

we were planning to buy 335i together, his will be alpine white and mine jet black..but i changed my mind since i'm almost done with my mods...dunno bout him though, all i know is he wants an european car next

Haha... wow! Some people get these crazy ideas. For the longest time there was a four door Accord in my apartment subdivision with a BMW badge on the trunk. It took all I had to not say something to him.

there's a subaru Legacy here that is a "Lumina SS" wannabe, he did a really good job, i sometimes think its a lumina SS!

That Accord is AWESOME, I want one! Oh wait I'm going to put F430 on my car and some Ferrari badges on it ... think anybody'd notice?

I've seen a lot of pics of DAMD franken cars.

It looks silly to me, but I don't see a whole lot of difference between that and some of the crazy body kits people put on.

at least with the body kits, it's changing the visual appearance of what you do have (in the owner's mind, for the better)... with the rebadging, you're pretending to be something you're not.

body kit = boob job/plastic surgery
rebadging = stolen identity

And the guy with the Accord should know that he could have gotten a nice used E46 for what he paid for the Accord and he'd have had the real deal. What can you say...humans are entertaining if they're nothing else.

Well, the G35 aston mod is not too bad in execution. Of course the premise is silly but craftsmanship, while not the best, seem decent enough. I can't help but think of the Cayenne Turbo front/grilles when looking at those pics though.
