dealer sucks

i went to the dealer about a week ago becuase i needed to do muy service andmy heater was turning off so i told them that...they did they service and got it back and they told me to come back because i needed a new heating motor for my car..so the next day my car dies..i didnt leave any light on and was pissed because i had to go to school and was late..and then when i was leaving school to start my car it died again...so i called bmw asking them whats the problem..like usuall they told me to come in and take a look...i took it in and they said something with the heating killed my battery so they replaced it..i got the car back today was super happy...about 10 minutes later some funky thing shows up on the car and now theres something wrong with the damn sunroof...my dad even got pissed and yelled at them becuase i been going to the dealer alot for the car for stupid stuff like this...i hate this dealer so much because they cant get anything right..

Don't they drive it around a little after a service to make sure everything checks out? Or maybe they don't do that for non-driving related issues.

I'm sorry to hear about the troubles that your dealer caused you. I guess we're all human, but some just have more training and better management then others.

Like most service oriented businesses, they will probably find a way to make it up to you in the future.

things happen. just be calm when you try to resolve the problem with them. anger will only make matter worst. Use reasoning and point out to them how this has been a bad experience and maybe they will make it up to you in some other form. If they don't, just think about looking at a different dealer (if you have other dealers). I have a bad experience with one dealer, I give them plenty of opportunity to correct their lack of attention to detail. I finally gave up and went to onather dealer for service now.

^ what tx said

no need to go ape-$hit on them, it'll make matters worse, be calm and tell them how disappointed you are with the service and give them opportunities to rectify the situation, if they're still not up to your satisfaction, go to another dealer

^ tx, you're on the ball today, my brother, exactly my thought

though you would probably never want to go back to the old dealer after doing that!

if they suck, they do deserve a bad rating, regardless if you want to get back at them or not. if you get a chance to rate them, just like txusa03 suggested, give them a 1/5 or try to call BMWNA and request a survey.

its really hard to find a dealer with no problems...

people say that BMW dealer here is the best dealer in Oman, but still i have problems with them, but what makes them better than the others, is that they make it up for u, IF u know how to talk...

i get angry at them, but i dont shout, i just tell them i bought this car for $35k and this is how u treat me??? :
that mostly works
