I THINK I am on the "Don Juan"..but I am not sure?? Can anyone help?

I just spoke with my CA, and he said my car was placed on the "Don Juan", and set sail on 11/3, with a delivery 8 days later to NYC (although he said that didn't seem right to him...too soon, and the shippers website says it is due into NYC 11/15). When I check the shippers website, they don't have record of my car as being transported (doesn't come up when I try to track), and OC and the 800 number still say "in-transit" and "at the port awaiting shipping vessel". Who has the most accurate info?? I don't want to get excited if my car is still in Germany..

First, let's get the facts a little clearer. The 800 number says you are "in transit"?? The OC says you are "at the port awaiting a shipping vessel"? When did the 800 number change to "in transit"??

my car is on the courage and has been for about four days, yet the 800# and OC still say "awaiting transport". Both systems are lagged! Your CA should know for sure what vessel your on and you can track from there.BTW the cargo website tracking system does not seem to be working properly. Best bet is to track vessel on cargo website, and pray that your actually onboard!

That is what I am doing, the waiting is killing me. I hate when things don't equate

Soma, my salesman says my car should be loaded on the 10th of Nov. I've been at the port awaiting shipping vessel for over a week. That would put me waiting for a ship for 2 weeks.... Seems wrong. I was kinda hoping I made the Courage too. I tracked via shipping website and my VIN is not coming up. Do you put the whole VIN# in (WBA PART)? The only way you know you're on board is because your salesman told you correct? So far, both OC and the 800 number still says at port awaiting vessel.

your CA has the information in regards to what vessel your on. As far as the vin# tracking, OC, and the 800#, they are all either lagged or not operational (vin# tracking)

When you use the WW site make sure you put your vin under auto cargo.
If you are on the ship your vin will show it.
I am on the MS Don Juan and when I plug in my vin it comes up as loaded on the 3rd.
The ship was one day late leaving.

That is what is making me wonder, because my CA said that is the ship that I am on, but when I put my VIN in for "Auto Cargo", it says that there is no match. Between that and OC and 800 # still saying I am awaiting transport I am wondering if my CA is giving me a line of BS.

your CA has nothing to gain by lying to you that your car has been loaded on vessel if its not...if he/she says your car is on the boat, most likely it is on the boat. When I call the 800#, check on the OC, and put my vin# in the WW website, nothing tells me that my car has shipped, however my car arrived at the port october 24th. My CA says the car is on the boat...I believe him

I checked the WW website this morning, and it is on the boat, as my CA said. MY g/f says I was being obsessive and paranoid...she was right, as usual. In my defense, it was "Booked" on 10/20/06, and didn't hit a ship until 11/3. It is due into NY on 11/15..YAY!!
