Aftermarket e90 springs on e92

Ive been researching on the board for awhile now and I know some people have already put aftermarket springs/co made for the e90 on their e92. But when i called the local shop who has eibach springs, they said that they wont do it because they said that they might not be capatible and may void my warrenty

from what i know, the suspensions are technically the same in both the e90 and e92, so theoretically, they should fit without much problems

anyone here can confirm if this can be done and is safe? i am sure a lot of e92 owners out there who are also wondering about this

any input would help, thanks!!
