GIAC Stage 2 Dyno: 400WTQ and 382WHP 93 Otc

GIAC Stage 2 Dyno: 400WTQ and 382WHP!!!
  • Lots of power in the middle and at the top end
  • Smooth as butter
  • Much nicer A/F Ratios
  • 93 Otc
  • Less than 15 minutes of adaptation
  • Crappy warehouse fan
  • Helix FMIC
  • RR Catless Downpipes
  • DCIs
  • Stock Exhaust but no cats

Full review to come...

Check out the big difference in A/F Ratios...

Those curves look nice. Any plans on taking it to the 1/4?

Looks interesting and very similar compared to JB3 1.3, did you have the same mods back then also?

Congrats! How does it feel on the street? When does peak PSI hit and how much?

Based on the dyno above, how much decrease would using 91oct on the same car with same mods?

That's great you got the tune.
I know that they're coming close with releasing it.

now i have a lot to look forward to next wednesday.
I am finally getting flashed to stage 2.
Do you have the stage 2 flash made for meth or the one without, i wasn't sure there were two files until we called giac and they asked if i was running meth and if not they had a different file.
What if i run the meth file but don't yet have meth?

Giac did not say it could not be done but that it was not recommended so i gather the big difference is timing and boost but im not 100 percent sure hence the ?
Thanks for the positive feedback

i run the more aggressive stage 2 file which works like a charm on 94 octane.
this file has a more aggressive timing table that is used when the ECU detects higher octane. I am now running meth as well but could not properly test it because of the weather.
Remember though that you probably need very high quality fuel to run this map and at least 94 octane and beeing fully catless with the best mods/parts on the market.
My dyno on this file and 94 octane is basically like the one from Kelvin1000.

Everything was the same except no secondary cats.

There is a big difference in the torque in the middle of the curve... Up to 25whp or more at various RPMs
