But on the other hand a cleaned car does drives better .... (at least in my head). So what do you guys do to for winterprotection ?

Beautiful job! Looks great!
The biggest thing I do for winter protection is not to drive until a day after roads have been plowed. The gravel can ding the crap out of your paint.

+1. Just wait till road get back to good condition.

In case, If you really really have to drive, I use this.

Spike Spider, Work really good in snow.

Easy to install, uninstall, and clean.

little pricy. about 400 USD. But worth it.

Only uses in crazy snow and especially in up hill or down hill.

My 330xi is my winter car - doesn't really get driven much until the snow and stuff comes. What do I do - it gets dirty and guess what - the dirt actually washes off and come spring it will still get shiney when washed and waxed.
These are cars - made of steel and other metals plus other weather OK materials - they get dirty; they get clean. They are meant to be driven.

We are driving them! The reason for the post was to see what we do to help protect against the weather. Not all of us are lucky enough to have a 330xi as a bad weather car.
