I searched but couldnt find anything in this forum but....

Is E46 carpets (floormats) same as E90? or will they fit?

Hello abc9475,

They could, but they are not exactly the same ... attachments and contours are a little different. So you might be better off with the new one.

P.S.: Does not mean that he's cheap, he's just asking the question.

Put my extra set of E46 330 ZHP mats in my 335 coupe. Fit fine. Stashed the set that came with the car for when needed.

the rear are smaller but you can put them in the e90. The front doesn't match as nice. I gave my e46 mats away.

I've got the set of E46 mats from our totaled 325xi (car in signature ) in my Civic. They fit almost perfect.

As others have said, they'll fit but it wont be perfect. The E90 mats seem a little larger than the E46 mats.

Thx for the answers

Its not that i am cheap but the a shop i know only has this special extra strong form (see picture for an example) which can keep the snow and water in its place and they only had it for E46

I think ill get them if they fit almost perfect (its just for 3-4 months)

my e90 came with the carpets that were like $120. I think they are one of those unstainable ones or something like that.. cuz after all the damage that they took and after i brought it to the car wash, it still came out good, almost always new.

So, not feeling comfortable with it, especiallly for rainy days, snow, and setting foot in the car after walking in dirt.. or "looose earth" lol, I ordered the rubber mats which are a I believe $90 option. (do it ebay, believe ig ot em for like $60) and they are great... i juuust dont like that, for the black ones, when u move ur feet on it or whatever, the surface is gray. You know, the way rubber looks when its scratched.. doesnt look attractive when u open ur car to sit in it.

Other than that, to me.. the rubber ones loke better, durable, and light.

This is good to hear as I have a great set of rubber mats from my E46 that I would like to use in my E90 when it gets here. The $100 I save will go nicely towards a set of Blacklines....
