Rear brakes options

My rear brakes are due for a change soon (so my dealer tells me). Discs and pads.

What are my best options as I don't want to pay the £320 they are offering to do them for. I don't mind fitting them myself but do I get standard discs and better pads and should I get some braided hoses whilst I'm changing them?

Comments appreciated

Thanks
Matt

Ive just taken a full set of discs pads and calipers of my 330d front and rear so if you need any bits contact me, easy to fit.
