Parking brake light coming on while driving?

My parking/emergency brake light keeps coming on while driving. Yes, the handle is all the way down.

Just started happening recently, since a couple days after getting new rear tires (fronts still had enough rubber left and didn't require replacement). Same make/model/size tires I had before, but could the larger diameter rears (due to being newer) be causing a wheel speed sensor to notice that they're turning slightly slower than the fronts and think that the e-brake is engaged?

And to make things weirder, the light, which is usually red, was yellow this morning....(?).

Searched and found nothing. Any ideas? Car is out of warranty so going to the dealer is out of the question.
