Welcome lights
Hi Guys
I cleaned my car today for the first time this year and this was the first time I started it for about 6 weeks. It started ok but the clock and date needed re-settingf and when I had finished cleaning it and it back in the garage the welcome lights did not work. Also, the front and rear lights were working on the auto function but not the number plate lights! I reset all the light options and then the auto lights and number plate lights worked but still no welcome lights. Anyone have any ideas? Steve |

My time and trip meter were reset every time I started the car for a while. It has done very few miles in months and all your problems will be down to a weak battery.
Since there are so many electronics, the system "withdraws" support from non essential items in the car to make sure it will still start. A really long journey or a trickle charger will fix all your woes. |
