Just shove a gold tee or a screw into the vacuum hose and tuck the hose up into the bumper.

Only if you do the mod within 10 minutes of waking up on a Saturday morning. All other times you can use a golf tee.

I drove with my vacuum tube with nothing in it and never triggered a code. I currently have a wood screw that fits it perfectly. You can even go cheaper than a 5 cent wood tee and just tie the hose
