OEM E90 trunk floor mod for dual or custom quads

The E90 335i has a different storage trough trunk floor than in the outgoing E90 325i/330i. This is so the underside can accomodate the twin mufflers with dual exit pipes.

BMW lists this item as the "STORAGE TROUGH LUGGAGE TRUNK FLOOR"
Part number: 51 47 9 118 673

If you need an E90 Saloon 335i USA VIN number, here's one: WBAVB73507PA85102.

Both the 330i and 335i have the same number of bolts and nuts that fasten this piece to the trunk floor. They also appear to be in the same location.

Not necessarily, but this idea started when Jason first posted the cut-away diagrams of the 335i.

because with the dual pipes coming out of the 335i now, the rear looks like the last generation Acura TL type S
