125 MPH on the Autobahn

Hi Guiys, I'm new to this forum, I just wanted to say this car handles totally awsome at 125+ on the Autobahn. I picked up my 330i as soon as I got back from Iraq a month ago and I'm in LOVE.

The german roads and mainly the german motorways (in western germany) got such worse in the last years.. So its for sure not always a pleasure to drive on it! Ok, not all motorways are in a bad condition but the holes on the road are getting more and more!

Welcome back VIGUY! Enjoy the roads and fests while you're out there. I was stationed at Darmstadt for 2 years and I'm back home now. Coming back, I rezliaed that the roads and beer are worlds apart. Be safe and take care!

You are right. It was time to get the (what we call in Holland) Oberhausen-straight (A3 Emmerich Oberhausen) repaired.

The A45 through Hochsauerland (from Frankfurt to Dortmund) I like the best. But watch out for crossing deers (I experienced that last summer when travelling at around 200km/h, just missing the deer by about half a meter)

Here in LA, where it's the land of traffic congested streets and freeways, you rarely get the chance to speed. Coming home from a party in Hollywood on Saturday night at 3 am, I finally got the opportunity to drive my car at 120 mph. It was such a silky smooth ride, it didn't even feel like I was going that fast. I would've pushed it higher, but I chickened out.
