OEM sports springs...
I didn't get the sports package....I know I should have....but now I know what to order for my M3....
I baught OEM sports springs form one of the users from here...U think installing OEM springs...is a good idea and a noticable difference..I know its only .6" but u think its worth paying $250 for the install.....I don't wanna go with H&R cause of my daily driving..and don't wanna change shocks etc... |

we're in the same boat. I have a set of ZSP springs that I have yet to install (hadn't found the time, cost justification etc.). As mentioned, the drop is 0.6" which is mild, I'd expect the handling to firm up a little even with mismatched damper settings. You want to do a group install one of these days?

Ase2dais recommended a place in Franconia/Springfield where he had his E90's H&R sway bar and Accord's springs installed. I think they will do the install for $250 including alignment. We can set up a time sometime next month to do this together, maybe we can get a group discount.

.6 makes a difference. Just look at a non ZSP car and a ZSP car. BTW, I think ZSP shocks are different from non-ZSP shocks.

Achal, I think a switch to the ZSP shocks is not 100% necessary. The drop is very mild so the stock shocks wouldn't be too overwhelmed. There might be some subtle bounciness but I don't think it would upset the car's ride and handling. Now, if you were to switch to something more agressive like H&R race springs, then definitely shocks must be uprated if you value your kidneys....
