To clarify, will not in any way mess with original car's mileage or computers. This is a purely plug n play cosmetic parts. Basically pull off your needle & replace with M3 ones, replace 335i ring with M3, replace 3 series tachometer with M3 ones.

I have to ask. Do you get a functioning temperature gauge in the tach portion of the cluster?
Thanks, Chuck |

Im very interested in this but Im not sure whats included?
or how is going to work? is the whole cluster included so I can just swap it my 335i? does it needs calibration? what about speed is it accurate, since its setup to 200mph and the 335i only to 160mph? I dont want to break open my cluster, I want straight PnP |

Take a look and see if your up to it, its fairly simple DIY, just be patient.
(Pics associated with each step are under the description): Tools: Torx T-10 Thin Flat-head screwdriver (I can't stress thin enough) Playing card I would recommend unhooking the negative terminal on your battery just to be safe. Move the steering wheel down as far as possible Pull it towards You fully - Now there is sufficient space to remove the cluster - it is not necessary to remove the steering wheel! Remove the 2 torx screws on top of the cluster Tilt the upper side of the cluster out of the dash to reveal the connector Open the safety latch on the connector, but leave the connector in place Move the cluster out between the steering wheel and the dashboard. Start by removing the 4 T-10s on the back of the cluster, circled in red. The cluster is still held together by clips (6 in total); 2 on the top, 2 on the bottom, one on each side. Work the bottom clips free first, then the sides. The cluster should be half-way apart now, which will make the top clips easier, don’t use too much force...nothing needs to be broken. Now that the cluster is in halves, grab the playing card and thin screwdriver. Slide the playing card under the needle, between it and the gauge face. This should keep the face from possible being scratched or indented. Now place a thin screwdriver between the card and the needle and gently twist upward. The needle will most likely bend away from the force of the screwdriver, use your hands to brace the clear/red portion and gently pull upward while you twist with the driver. You'll hear a slight pop when the needle is released from the friction fit, it should be easy to pull off after this. Try not to twist the position of the needle, the gears seem delicate, repeat for the other 3 needles. Now you need to remove the back portion of the cluster. It's only held on with one clip, simple to remove. Insert the screwdriver into the space between the socket and the back piece (circled in red), twist the screwdriver to one side to release the clips. I typically will hold the cluster by the black piece alone to help the clips release when I’m fooling around with the screwdriver. Not much force is needed. (4) Next you need to separate the circuit board from the white portion of the cluster. This is rather simple as well, just unhook the 4 clips circled in red. Place the circuit board someplace safe...preferable in an anti-static bag. Removal of the gauge faces is up, again pretty simple to do. There are two white clips that hold them on (circled in red). Pull the white clips outward, then push the clear plastic piece down...should pop out with relative ease. Do this for both the tachometer and the speedometer. Note the position of the speedometer backing plate, as the M3 one will need to be oriented in a similar manner for the cruise control indicator. The speedometer backing plate just simply pulls off, it’s clipped into place very loosely. The tachometer side is a little more difficult, as it's held in place with 4 clips, circled in red. Carefully work them free by pressing inward, working on at a time. Insert the white plastic ring, oriented in the manner show in the pic. It just clips into place with ease. Clip the tachometer backing plate onto the white plastic ring, it snaps in with ease as well. At this point it’s going to be loose as it’s normally held in place by a gear assembly. Choose the proper position your cars redline then double sided tape the plate and clip together so it won’t rotate. Press the gauge faces into place, they just slide down and snap back in. To reinstall the needles, start at 3k on the tachometer and press the needle down halfway, then rotate it slowly towards zero. This should apply enough force to zero the cluster as well as get the needle accurately aligned. It might take a couple tries, but make sure you get it right. Once its properly aligned, press the needle down fully. You should be able to get your screw driver between the needle and the gauge face still. Repeat this for each of the other 3, TAKE YOUR TIME! Reassemble the cluster reversing the steps detailed earlier.
