E93 Staggered Wheel/Tire Size Help

Looking to go from stock OEM style 230's (19) on my 2008 e93 vert, to Forgestar F05 19's x 9 front and x 10' rears. Should this be OK without any rub or fender roll ? This is a lease car so I cannot haver either, nor will I be lowering.

265x35x19's were recommended on the rears. Is my proposed combo going to work for me?

Mike

Here is what they said:

19x8.5 ET35 245/35/19
19x10 ET30 265/35/19 or 275/35/19

ET30 with a 10" rear wheel is pretty aggressive, you may need to roll the fenders...fronts are fine

It would be ideal if those offsets were reversed

Thanks for the input. My car is leased so rolling aint an option. I was told that others on BMW boards are doing the 10's and the vendor was actually recommending. I was leaning towards the 9's myself. I wonder if anyone has this combo and found the 10's doable?

+1

Also why would you want to put 245 vs 225 or 235 on the front..

That setup will rub in the rear on an e93, even running a 265/30-19. A pre-lci e90 can probably pull this off on stock suspension, but that’s because they have more fender space in the back than the e93.

The only way to pull this off on your car without a fender roll would be the switch over to an adjustable coilover setup and crank up the dampening settings to the maximum stiffness. Otherwise, id suggest a rear offset of et38 or so for your car as well as falken fk452 or Toyo Proxes t1r tires, since they have a round sidewall.

Also, just to be safe, i'd run a 235/35-19 on the 9 inch front.

Correction. I was running 265/30-19 tires on 19x10.5 wheels on my E93 with slammed rear on H&R Sport with NO fender rolling and NO rubbing. However had to roll rear fenders and change suspension to raise rear after upgrading to BBK and to allow for 25mm spacers on rear for wheels to clear BBK.

PICs before BBK upgrade....

But those 19x10.5's on your car definitely did not have an offset of et30 like the o.p.'s 19x10s would be. When I ran my 19x10 et33 with a 275/30-19 falken fk452 on H&R sport, i rubbed badly (running a 265/30 would have helped, but most likely not eliminated the rubbing completely), it wasn’t until switching to KW coilovers that i was able to stop the rubbing without the need to roll my fenders. Heres a pic of my current setup (19x10 et33). As you can see, the rear wheel protrudes somewhat from the fender, which would be the case with the o.p.'s 19x10 et30 setup as well. BTW, great looking e93!
