Hello everyone,

I have been to a few car meets in my short driving life but never a BMW one. Was wondering if anyone from around the north east area would fancy a meet up in a couple of weeks? Location I wouldn’t know yet till people start saying where they are from? But the Newcastle Saga/Baltic car park is a nice setting, where the Pitcher and Piano is across the Millennium Bridge. If anyone is interested or have a different location, please feel free to say.

First time trying to organise a meet..... help me haha.

Good luck with the meet, you probably need to give yourself a bit more time than a couple of weeks though. Viv, one of the moderators is local to that area.

thank you.... well the meet is open to place and time really... to suit everyone is the best bet. i was thinking of a sunday afternoon. Nobody does anything on a sunday afternoon lol.

Need to give a few months notice and be a little more flexible on the meet point - See what kind of interest you get - maybe ask the mods to make the request a sticky.

See who wants to come - then arrange where to meet and what to do. Nothing more boring imo than hanging around a car park. A nice drive to a pub always works....

Whos intrested first and we'll get a start point arranged and have a drive somewhere for some food in a few months when we have the numbers up.

thanks ... maybe start somewhere else and have a drive to the baltic car park. might be better, have a list of 3 from here and two friends with an evo and subaru lol... stil no date set... location can change if people have better ideas?

Probably not - unless I am in the area anyway it's a 3 hour drive each way.

I know the area very well though

There's a cafe and overpriced restaurant in the Baltic, but no pub. There's also a cracking cafe in the Sage.

The one in Sage sells some lovely cakes. Might be a Donut if you are lucky
