E92 320D Remap @ p-torque

After 3 attempts of trying to remap my car(Due to the new encrypted ecu, i did try Evolve, Superchips, celtic Tuning but ALL FAILED!) i finally got it done today at p-torque.

all i can say is WOW....cant stop driving the bloody thing....
when Will finished the dyno/remap he gave me the car to test, i pulled out of his access onto the main road of the industral estate and floored it!...had a huge smile on my face, totally transformed the car....OK some will say its only a 320d, but for a 2litre diesel turbo, the power is increase is crazy....ive got a supercharged IS300 which i use only at weekends, due to insurance and my age (running approx 307bhp), i can honestly say, if the lexus and bm keys are side by side, ill pick the bm keys up!..

Before on the motorway, if i was in 6th gear to overtake a car quickly i had to drop down into 5th or 4th, now i can just leave it in 6th and floor it!...
its how the 320d should come out of the factory!!....if anyone wants a remap i cant recomend p-tourqe enough.

BHP is: 217
Torque: 323lb

I dont know if its just me but, the more i drive the car, the more faster/more responsive it seems to be!...is it the map settling in?

A big thank you to Will too.

Your review has wet my appetite for a remap!!! I was leaning towards Evolve but with the reviews and forum discount pricing from p-torque I think I will be giving them a call at the begining of next month..

Sounds good Singh That's not all that far off a standard 330d output now!

This p-torque outfit seem to be getting some seriously good feedback! I'm surprised at how low their prices are as well considering it's a custom map and includes a rolling road session.

Me too! I'm debating whether the 3 hour drive to P torque might be worth it!

My car is booked in with Will in a few weeks time. I can say after the conversation I had with Will over the phone he put a number of my concerns of having a remap to rest.

I'm sure the two hour drive will be worth it.

re the iphone - I take it you mean dynolicious software? If so will it run on a 3G or does it need the 3GS model?

Taken direct from the Dynolicous web site.

Quote:
Minimum Requirements
ANY iPhone or iPod touch (Dynolicious does not require GPS or a network connection)
iPhone OS 2.2 or greater
BMW also have a version, which is free but much more simple and will only really give you 0-60 or 1/4 mile times.

Bear in mind though that the readings are dependant on getting traction. Was having a play the other day but due to the sh!te weather i was only showing 9.15 0-60 at 156bhp as was just wheelspinning in 2nd and 3rd.

Not bad app for 7/8quid tho!

Thanks for the feedback Rish. Pleased you are so happy with the results.

For those interested, we are the first UK tuner offering remaps for the later BMW's fitted with the latest encypted ECU's.

We have spent alot of money developing these later ECU's.

If anyone has questions, please feel free to pm, e-mail or call me
