wow looks well made...so basically you replace the entire bulb housing/lens holder assembly while using stock power source. I like the built in watertight gasket and the cooling fins. What's with the extra cables, looks messy? How much heat is generated and is the heat issue well contained? - If you remember correctly, some folks had that angel eye rod tips melting issues...

I believe only mds82's LUX kits have the cooling fans and cooling fins combo...

Like one other member asked, what are the extra wires that extend backward for?

The PIAA does not have a fan. It looks similar to this, but with a smaller heat sink that allows you to put the plastic cover back on. It also has two LEDs similar to this one that envelop the tips of the angel eyes. It will be interesting to see the color and intensity of these side-by-side.

i think piaa will just about the same as brex
I got 2 sets of Brex, 1 for Dennis, and one for myself, but after installed Brex on dennis car, hahah..... such waste of money lol

note, those wire wont be there after the actual product release. the one in the pic was a sample(only have 1 side), we also use very bright LEDs
we tested it with 12V battery charger for about 4 days 4 nights. the LED didnt burn out LOL

wow.... great job jeffrey!

u know what would intensify the light output even more, try to create a flashlight-like surround within that LED enclosure; the area around the led's dont seem reflective.

This looks to be very promising. Glad i never got a brex kit.

and haha.. that plug is the 12V wire that you use inside computers.

What type of LED's are you using in that kit?? also, how many lumens are being produced by the 2 LED's??

That whole design looks very nice!! Would you mind if i talked to you in person a little more about how you built these, resistors, led's

Bump for what looks to be an awesome product

How do these look in the daytime? Same brightness as the 335 coupe? Are the 5000K, 6000K & 8000K relating to brightness or color? Product looks really nice!
