Went from Pre LCI adaptive xenon to LCI Euro Adaptive xenons..
I have a few questions..
Are the Three little lights on the side clear on euros or same amber as the US versions? Anyone got the cornering lights and Highbeam flash to work correctly? The Two center lights on the LCI euro adaptive xenons act as cornering lights like in E92s.. So when i pull the highbeam light to flash.. it lights the cornering lights... Im sure this is a simple reprograming but not sure... Any info would be appreciated.

I have a few questions..
1. Are the Three little lights on the side clear on euros or same amber as the US versions? A. I believe on all models euro or us they are amber, but i have to check. 2. Anyone got the cornering lights and Highbeam flash to work correctly? A. your car does not have the neccesary wiring for the cornering lamps to work correctly. there is a reason that the bi-xenon shutter activates the cornering lamp.. Andy should have explained that to you.. Probably didnt. 3. The Two center lights on the LCI euro adaptive xenons act as cornering lights like in E92s.. So when i pull the highbeam light to flash.. it lights the cornering lights... Im sure this is a simple reprograming but not sure... A. The lights you have are usdm adaptive xenons. the wiring inside your headlight will not functions in that way without changes in the wiring. Not a simple car reprogram.. BMW will laugh if you ask them to do so... Any info would be appreciated. If you have any further questions PM me... Damon

im sure mine are e code lci... i had them shipped from germany...
when i pull my high beam for flash.. the xenons dont turn on nor does it activate the shield on the bixenons.. it just turns my center two lights on which are cornering lights... when i push the high beam on for extended high beams.. they activate the shield on the bi xenons for high beams. and the AHL work as before.. direct plug and play. I have no error codes because i had done the corner delete mod before.

so they work just like pre lci lights then.. so they are working correctly... do you have pre lci ballasts and ahl modules connected or lci ballasts and modules?

So basically LCI Xenon Headlight (w AHL) is plug and play for pre-LCI car which factory equipped with Xenon HEadlight (w AHL).
without any additional wiring needed ? Regardz, J Irwan |
