Will 320d get chrome exhaust for 2007?

Hi, I wonder if the 2007 320d with m-sport paket will got chrome exhaust/tail pipes as OEM??

To get the chrome tip it will need a straight exhaust pipe which, in turn, means fitting the (expensive) particle filter as standard. Whether or not they do this will probably depend on each country/market in the E.U.

We already have the particle filter as standard so that's one step toward a nice chrome tip.

Norway pretty much have the same option as Germany.

In France the PF is optional on the 320d, standard on the 330d. Isn't a unified Europe wonderful

Yes, and we're not even in EU.

In the UK we only get a chrome tip if you purchase the PF, or a 6 cyl.

Nothing to do with M pack, that LB one has it because the whole backbox was bought seperately.

If you buy a 318/20 d it will have a black down swept pipe unless you pay for a PF.

So the chrome pipe wasn't OEM, looks good though.

I know that there isn't any chrome in the car that doesn't have PF, but all BMW 3 series diesel has PF in Norway.

If it has PF, but no chrome, you can just buy the chrome tip for the 320i

But there is no difference wether you push the piece on or some guy at the factory does it. Both are just the same cover

Aslong as yuo have the PF the tip should slide right on, should take you less than a minute to do.

The trim is £29.99 from BMW and just pushes on.

It's a really snug fit so no risk of losing it, unless someone steals it!
