Brakes-vibration thru pedal when wipers on

Has anyone else noticed this. On my 330i with sports pkg, I feel the vibration of the wipers movement through the brake pedal. I've tried my wifes 06 X3 and fathers 04 745i and there is no vibration what so ever. Definitly affects drivability in the rain.

I have noticed it too. It seem as if the pedals were electric and when the wipers turn on, some of the power go to the wipers, and you feel like a small click.

I have noticed this on my previous car... I think it's normal.

Don't think it is. Try the engine turned off and then activate the wipers. There's still a pulsing sensation.

You should not feel the brakes pulsating even with the wipers on. Members had problems with this before. Take it to the dealer!

the brake drying feature does not work that way...

When the rain/light sensor senses moisture, it pre-tenses the brakes just a slight amount, so that the heat generated will keep the brakes dry. It is a CONSTANT pressure increase, not a "grabbing".

Matt
When the rain sensor (used for the automatic wipers) determines it is raining, the brake pads periodically move close to the rotors—just close enough to eliminate any film of water on the rotors without actually applying the brakes.

Asiann... are you arguing operation of a proprietary bmw technology with a BMW tech?
