320d SE

Hi Everyone,

I am looking into getting a 3 series tourer of some description, there is a nice 320d SE on the cards but ideally I would like the M sport.

Is it possible to get the suspension lowered to be the same as the M sport when the car is NOT bought from new? and if so how much?

also, does it have to be done at BMW or does anyone know any other good places to get it done?

Could you not find a used SE that already has the same lowered suspension as the MSport?

If not, I would expect it costs more to get done aftermarket than the £150 it cost to tick the box when new.

Loads of the US guys have lowered their cars so I can't see why it can't be done here - no idea on price but like Jonmad says its a £150/£200 option and you wont get it for that price after!!! Just buy an M sport - if you don't, you will always say why didn't I etc. When I bought mine the M sport wasn't an option but I'd definately get one next time.

cheers 2GPP - that is not a bad price for an after market mod. I would of course prefer getting an M sport in the first place but as they say money is too tight to mention and the SE's seem come in about 2.5 grand cheaper.

As I said, you can get an SE (including a used one) with the same suspension as the MSport.
