hmm.. finance options
Hey,
Can anyone recommend to me some places that i can ring round tomorrow to get some finance counter quotes on a 325d? The car is £23k and with a part ex of £5000, been quoted by the dealer £364 on a 42mo PCP scheme.. seems a wee bit high (but not awful), and the APR is 11.6% which i think should defo come down! Any pointers to companies, or contacts people know of would be much appreciated. Thanks! Chris |

Stating APR without any of the rest of the numbers is irrelivent. And that low one above is probably HP not PCP.
11.6 with PCP is probably high, unless the baloon is very low to counter this... Mine is on 10.4% PCP. 15k financed over 48 months at 255/month. I only paid a 10% deposit. With a 30% deposit I'd expect 9% or so on the PCP deal really. Another question is have you looked at just a bankloan for it? Can get a 9% bankloan - obviously with higher monthly payments though.. Depends on if your planning to keep the car or hand it back after 2 years?

Don't know why I'm bothering adding my thoughts here seeing as the OP hasn't responded since the orginal posting, however, other might be interested...
Alway check these days about straight repayment. Due to the low interest rates there is very little in it. You end up paying high upfront charges if you go down the balloon option however straight repayment is much more competitive - BMW finance have just matched (well, close enough) the APR available through comparison sites to keep my business.

just seen this pop up to the top of the list... hadn't responded due to not seeing any emails about the thread, soz i am picking the car up on the weekend (weather permitting!) and in the end got it down to £354 over 3yr and 2 months, the balloon is fairly reasonable too (£7700 i recall, but don't have it infront of me to check), so i am happy, works out about 9%. I am pretty confident that in 3 years the car will be worth more than 7k. Cheers guys, sorry about the lack of replies! How do i turn on auto subscription? |
