FYI...
I am pretty sure these are not programmable to another car. I read this on another thread here, b/c I was looking for a spare myself.

Yea thread closed, the original key FOB comes programable with the 10 possible codes from factory, no other codes can be used...ian ill pm you about the FOB for cosmetic use

I bought my car used from a private seller and he only had one set of keys. How much is it to get a spare key from the dealer? someone PM me please =)

Sorry to revive an old post... but did you end up getting a new key from your dealer? I'm in the same spot... only received one key with my newsed Bimmer...
