Is there a need to debadge?
Fair enough on the 335i/d it throws off symmetry:
But with a 325i is it really that much of an issue. I find that with, it balances it. Because of the exhausts being on one side. What do you think? |

I don't like the badge too much because it is too far from the side of the car, due to the shape of the boot - and mine is squint!
I think I would de-badge it if it was a 325 mind you, particularly if it was the later 3 litre engine. |

This really is going to be one of those questions that has everyone divided!
I think the fact that you have an option when buying new justifies that it isn't something to "cheapen" your car though... |

Your latest pic got me thinking to debadge. Plus I'm missing my mod bug and it's virtually a free mod |

Sorry! :-)
I went 6 months of owning my 320 without a single mod. I go and buy some new rims and now it's all I think about. I even had a dream someone stole my rims the other night. It's unhealthy! |

Doesn't matter if its a 318d or a 750i, it has to be viewed car by car and what the owner is trying to achieve. A 318 trying to be a M3 is a joke but a 335 SE trying to look stealthy is fine. Personally I went down the debadge route due to the other mods I had made, not because its trying to be something it's not. However it is still an all show and no got rep car |

Ah the age old question......!
I de-badged my 335i but haven't yet on my 135i as I'm still undecided I already have Golf GTi's and similar trying it on all the time now because to them it's "just a 1 series"! |

You will probably find some of those Golf Gti's (new ones) are pumping out 300HP with a re-map.
