Cleaning the tail pipes

Guys,

Spent most of this morning cleaning the 'vert. Noticed the tailpipes have a build up of black deposits from the exhaust system. I've tried cleaning them with a few cleaning products but there are a small amount of deposits left, which of course to me look enormous, but to everyone else look small.

Any ideas what to use to get rid of the deposits completely.

Of course once I finished cleaning her, it pi**ed down

AUTOSOL is good - I haven't tried any of the other suggestions here but (on the one occasion I used it (years ago) I thought it was quite good. Thing is, I'm a little embarassed to lie down behind my car and get to work on the pipes with a toothbrush...

Oh and I nearly called it ANUSOL but now realise that is something quite different...

Autosol is good. But if your tail pipes aren't too badly tarnished and you're looking for ultra shiny exhaust tips, try the britemax metal twins.
