Front grill ideas for next gen 3er

I see that the new 5 series seems to have the same thin vertical lines on the grill. Whereas Z4 uses thicker mat looking ones. Which one would you prefer to see on the next 3er. I seem to like the Z4 style better.

this is what I am talking about

The previous Z4 had thick, matte slats as well.

I doubt the F30 will have similar ones. My bet is on the traditional style, a la F01/F10.

Yep. Bolder models like the X models and Z4 can pull of the thick slat grilles. Sedans and most of the range suits traditional style, though on the coupes they could afford to lose a few slats to make it look sportier perhaps.

I like the Z4 grills better than the new grill styling of the 7.

I like them both but the new Z4 grills are quite nice

Either way I'll be replacing them with blacked out ones.

I prefer the upright grills of the F10 for a sedan, the Z4 grills would look too strange on a sedan IMO

The wide spacing of the bars on the Z4 remind me of a bird cage or jail bars. They are starting to put too much chrome on the new designs.

Wow these are some ugly ass cars. Hopefully CPO 335i prices will plummet when people move on to this "beauty".
