335i - Third week of ownership.. loving it so far
Well I after 3 weeks of ownership I thinks it time to say I am well chuffed with choice of motor. It's everything I could want from a car!
I was a little aprehensive (due to the list of potential problems reported on these cars), however I'm very pleased I took the plunge. It took me a while to find one in the colour/spec/price I wanted and I almost gave up looking, but it was worth the wait :-) Spec: 335i Space Grey, Manual, Black Heated Leather, Piano black trim, BlueTooth, Business Sound + cd changer (which I've found plays MP3 cd's yey!), Business Sat Nav, Sun Protection glass, 18" wheels. I've only got the one picy at the moment, I took with my phone, straight after I washed it (and then it rained grrr). |

Although mine is a late 56 Reg, it's only done 22k so I'm hoping it will last a little while yet without breaking. If not, I've got 12 months Used Approved cover to see me through the year, but I'm hoping I won't need to use it as I get the impression BMW's after care has room for improvement. |

Lovely motor. I had a manual 335i SE (56 plate too) and absolutely loved it. It didn't miss a beat once so try not to let what you've read/heard concern you too much; at least you've got warranty just in case.
Just in case you missed it, Will's comment is his usual attempt at 'irony'!! He's taking the piss (perhaps you were both seperated at birth???) apart from the fuel and your additional turbo .

Nice car mate, sure you'll enjoy "using it" and at least you don't have to cope with the running in period!
As for reliability - my current one is perfect with no probs at all, the previous one was that bad that BMW bought it back - spent more time in the garage than it did on the road! Sure you'll be fine - if there were any probs they will have been sorted by now. |

Will post up some more pics when I get round to cleaning it (when the weather improves).
The piano black trim is ace. It has very slight sparkle to it... and all that jazz! I don't know why but I've got a strange desire to get a power polisher and try a proper detail. My other halfs Astra can be the guinea pig lol. |
