Looking for decent second car...

Hi Guys

Any ideas on a decent secondhand motor for the wife? Been looking at the new TT roadster or an A4 cab, or the Mazda RX8. Anyone got one of these or had one?

Need four seats you see, otherwise would have a Z4 or MX5

Cheers

Marc

Whats the budget. Mazda is a bit old news now and not everyones cup of tea as regards the engine but can be bought very cheap now.

3 Series Coupe ??? Much roomier than most Coupes.

I'd agree with TT, if you never have to drive it of course. Or be seen in it.

I know....trust it to be the most expensive, and of course the old shape will never do!

Have seen one on an 07 with 14,000 for £21K, 3.2 dsg etc in black. I know she is keen on the CLK but they still fetch good money on a decent year.

Marc

P.S Having my VR splitter fitted this Friday

Forget the TT if you need four seats.

I am not sure if you are open to VW's but the new GTI is a great value or a 2nd hand MKV. I have an MKV as my 2nd car and I love it.

I'd go for the A4 Cab as its the most spacious and its classy and can be had in diesel if she's gonna be doing some miles. Price is good too for the amount of car your getting.

This is what I'd push her towards in all fairness, has good classy looks like you say, spacious and should hold a decent sell on price.... actually no, scratch that last comment as this is my missus we are talking about here!

Really!! This woman doesn't.

Think the A4 cab could be a goer as already said. Not into cabs but think Golfs are everywhere and bland.

Sounds like a sensible lady............a change is as good as a rest and variety is the spice of life!

There's only one car so far I'd own again..........no prizes either.

My other half drives a Landy Series again.......I have the MAIN car.
