Rotors size and brake pads on the 335i Cpe/Sedan
I just got my 335i Sedan and the car is the best car I have ever driven. I now understand what they mean about "The Ultimate Driving Machine!"
Anyway, I noticed that the brakes were shedding a lot of black brake dust. I can clean my wheels in the morning and by the time I'm back from work I need to rewipe them...it's that bad~! Does anyone know if the Hawks or Axxis brake pads for the 330i fit the 335i's? What I really like to know is if the rotor diameters are different. I heard that the 335i cpe/sedan rotors are like 13.something inches large. Any truth in that? If so, then the 330i brake pads won't fit the 335i's.

The 335i has larger rotors then the 330i.

So the 335i disks are 13.7" diameter, and the 330i disks 12.99" diameter front. Just for comparison, the Brembo disks are 15". I'm curious to know what he retail price on the 335i disks/calipers would be. I'm afraid to find out.
Fleet, do you have the part numbers for the govt. issue brakes and calipers? |

I would guess a Brembo kit would be cheaper and a bigger difference than fitting all the 335i parts
Part number are the same as the 335i's ( to many to post ) Goverment use E90 arnt all the same, some are just regular E90, some can get uprated brakes and some are fitted with extra power wires and stronger battries to run radios ect ect. Ofcourse they also apply the identification markings to the police cars.
