Try two places:
Turbax - good reviews, but you will need a spare while you are driving around waiting. Wheels America in Miami, I have used them twice - very quick turnaround - one day, drop off in the morning and get your rim back the next day. But, you need a spare to drive around. Note: have the shops mount and remove you tires! Get new tires before you go through with this process (if you need new tires). I had a lease return, got the rims fixed, and then replaced tires - paint needed to set, and the tire place scratched the rim.. . very slight, but just have the repair place do it, they do not ruin the work they just did. Depending on damage (and if you remove your wheel yourself). It's anywhere from $138 up. all the best |

Turbax did a wheel for me once and I was not happy. They re-sprayed it and I still was not happy. The finish was orange peeled and had many specks of dust under the paint.
The other problem is that the wheels are factory painted with powder and I've yet to find a wheel repair place that uses powder. The re-spray will never have the durability of new until someone starts using powder or ESP. BTW, I finally had my wheel repainted at Stuttgart Body Shop in Fort Lauderdale and it came out way better than the Turbax repair. Still not powder but the finish was excellent. I've heard that Stuttgart will no longer repaint wheels. You may want to call them and inquire. |
