335i sighting in Stockton!

I was driving southbound on Pacific Avenue this afternoon and had my 1st e92 sighting on the road. It was Space Gray with black interior. The driver was an older gentleman in glasses wearing a sportcoat. He had an East Bay BMW license plate frame (same place I got my CPO 330i). I drove alongside him in my e90 but he didn't even look over I would have given him a nod of appreciation. He drove off, leaving me in his dust. I spoke w/ my SA today and he said that they've only sold a few of those so far. Nice to see an e92 in the Central Valley.

I think it's funny there's no BMW dealership in Stockton yet, with all the people moving into the new Spanos homes and all that you'd think they'd make a lot of money...
BTW nice sighting, I was up there last week and didn't even see one other e90 other than mine, let alone an e92!

You're right, I haven't seen many e90s in Stockton. I'm originally from So. Cal. myself and down there BMWs and probably e90s are a dime a dozen. I actually live in Spanos Park West in the north side of Stockton. They are planning to build the new building here in SPW for Berberian Motors, the Stockton authorized dealer for Mercedes-Benz and Volvo. They will be adding to their dealership Land Rover and Jaguar from what I've heard. The closest BMW dealers are Valley BMW in Modesto, East Bay BMW in Pleasanton, and the ones in Sacramento. I hope you had a nice stay in Stockton

If you want to see some nice e90's, take a drive to Tracy...

We should try to get a central valley meet goin on! I'm normally up around that area at least every month or two.. It would probably be more fun than the kind down in socal where there's so many people you don't really ever get to talk to anyone

I'd be up for that! I'm usually available 3 out of the 4 weekends of the month.

Not too hard to find nice e90's out here in "cow-town." Anyway, there's a new Texas Steakhouse or an In-N-Out Burger right off I-205 that would be an excellent place to display our cars I'm up for it if anyone wants to organize something

Sounds like we have a nice cozy group so far...
I think the Tracy area is pretty central for the Central Valley. I'm not very familiar with spots in Tracy, so any of you have good ideas where we could go? I don't know where the Texas Steakhouse is...is that off of Grant Line?

Here are a few locations in Tracy that would provide an excellent spot to "show" our rides They are located off I-205 and the Grantline Blvd exit.
  1. Texas Steakhouse
  2. Jamba Juice
  3. Sonic Burger
  4. Chevy's
  5. Apple Bee's
  6. West Gate Mall

I see plenty of e90's in Tracy..A good number of 5's and 7's too..
The town is 'growing up.' In the two years that I have been in/out here I have definitely seen more upscale vehicles appearing..

As far as a gathering place, my vote is for Home Depot off the 205...

Lots of people moved to Stockton from Bay Area because they couldn't afford housing around the bay. House price in Stockton = 50% compared to Bay Area in the last few years. Houses have been overpriced in Stockton because of it while there's no job still. When I graduated, I couldn't even find a job around Stockton-Sacramento area which paid more than $30k/year. How the hell could I afford a bimmer? Same to other people now.

hehehe
I cashed in all of my Stockton real estate just because I knew that this was going to happen!
Made about $400K in 1 year on 3 properties - that was fun.
Time to go back and see what deals I can scrape up

SO
When's the meet people?
