Got the date sorted now and we have got a Friday!

Friday, 11th December 2009

This really will be the last Club trackday of the year... I know I said that at Oulton but we have been offered a price deal at Cadwell Park that is just too good to miss.

The weather may not be so bad in December either - looking back over the last two years Cadwell have hardly lost any days to the elements in the run up to Christmas.. the nasty days have usually been in November and January.

If its a bit foggy and the start gets delayed Cadwell will cancel the dinner break and let us run through to dusk. There will be bags of tarmac time at this one.
Should they really need to cancel because of snow or ice we will get full credit towards our next trackday, so our money is secure.

Even though the price is 'bargain basement' at £69 for the full day on the full circuit we will still provide you with our normal high standard of trackday that you have come to expect. There will still be a splendid crystal trophy for the 'Driver of the Day' and our famous raffle.

This sounds really good and I love Cadwell, have never done a track day, and am not sure what it entails really.

I dont think I will make this one, but will be looking out for Cadwell next year about June time (give me time to get my car 100% sorted out)

Thats a superb price...

You're usually looking at £180+ for Cadwell.

Very testing track for rear wheel drive cars too

getting a few hits now - don't miss out.
You won't get a better deal than this - I'm pretty sure this has got to be the lowest priced, properly run, open pit lane trackday on a full racing circuit anywhere this year - you can thank those biker boys for cancelling and letting us in.

Worried about the weather? - just cast your minds back a few years when we got in at Bedford on a cancellation just before Christmas - It was glorious! one of the best trackdays ever.

I'm closing the book at 50 entries as well.

Go on, it's Christmas - treat yourself!

Yes, its a BMW day but we do allow some others within reason - the Golf will be fine.
Do you need an entry form?

Anyone?

Go on, treat yourself for Christmas!

You'll be kicking yourself if you don't come and we all end up posting what a brilliant day it was.

Pricewise - it doesn't get any cheaper than this - £69 has got to be an all time bargain, this very same event will be £100 more expensive when we return in May 2010.

Hope some of you can join us.

Nick

I have 3 confirmed, as long as the following cars are ok...

Golf MK2 1.8T 20v
Golf MK2 2.0 16v
Subaru 2.0T

I drive a Z4MC myself, but its not really my track toy

Those cars will be fine,

Cars are cars - it's the drivers I am concerned about, If they are the sort of folk that pay attention to me at the briefing and can show mutual respect out on the tarmac - then send them down, I have spaces to fill!

Do you need entry forms emailing over?

Hi Nick

These are colleagues of mine and we have been doing track days for years now, so no worries there. You can usually pick the guys out that aren't interested in listening, well before they hit the track.

Yes, please e-mail forms over to info@p-torque.co.uk

Thanks!
